โโโ โงใ A game played across the stars and across time, the Gemini Game is a once in a lifetime opportunity for those who have found their lives cut short: a chance to live again upon winning the game. All one needed to do was sign the contract offered by the Game Masters, Almir and Ivill, and complete the tasks set before them. Both seemed strange, cold even, yet they offer up contracts to all who were about to perish with a soft smile. It's hard to tell what their end goal is and if the people are saved as a kind gesture or simply because the two needed something to play with. Yet one thing is very clear: both wish to win their side of the game and none will live again without the blessing from one of the twins. It was a simple task to be victorious over another team, and yet it seemed as if this game wasn't all that it appeared to be. Each day the Nest, the large spaceship that one awakes on, sails through the galaxy, and each day it seemed as if rebirth was drifting away with each world passed. Small game after game is played, each winning a Crown and a small reward, and yet no game seems to be the final one. `Sin has run rampant and taken over on a global scale. Killing games have become the latest craze. There are those not of this world who will form contracts with the highest bidder in order to host one, and those who succeed in hosting are revered. The contestants are all ultimates who have been forcibly taken. Gone are the days when ultimates were looked up to. Now, they are viewed with scorn and disgust. The exception? Those ultimates who choose to host a killing game. But only those elite with money to spare are able to truly compete in this craze. For the majority of ultimates, their existence has become one of fear and flight, as they seek to hide amongst the very shadows that will betray them at any given moment.
But those who pay don't seem to grasp how steep the price they've paid truly is.
Welcome to Jigoku Mansion. We hope you enjoy your stay. Not that you have much choice. You and 23 others have been chosen, for better or for worse.
