It is modern day Tokyo. Years have passed since the Dragon War. Faux allyships between Ghoul and Mankind have crumbled like castles under poor leadership and glorified silver linings. From the ashes rose tired, angry, and vengeful ghouls that were given fragile promises and hope at living a normal life.
The United Front and newly-instated CCG, lead by Matsuri Washuu, are now at war. The CCG believes that it is their rightful title as Japan's proper justice division and that all ghouls must be executed as a means to prevent a third-wave’s occurrence as well as another Dragon Incident. The wards have been distorted in chaos underneath the surface, as constant warring over Tokyo's wards appears to be never-ending.
The strange world just got stranger. The dead are mysteriously rising, old organizations are returning with new faces and new leadership, and the ghoul and human worlds as we know it are headed for significant changes.
Here there is a very lax ranking system, meaning that, until the free-spots are filled for higher ranking ghouls / investigators you may have to have your character be higher ranked. For those that miss out, do not fret. We are solely-activity based, meaning the longer / more active you are the higher the rank you can become via the Arcane bot level system **in roleplay channels only**. Okay, ignore my review above, about time for a serious review. To put it simply this server is basically a spin off of The Expanse by James S.A. Corey. Some factions are basically rebranded versions of their factions in the books, such as IPA-UN, MF-MCR, BPU-OPA. On top of that there are unique factions with their own doctrine and technology to name them all, the Rim Periphery Union, and Kuiper Security Pact. Each has their own advantages and disadvantages, the players here do not need to worry about bullshit like shields that cancel out whatever you thrown at it and devolving into an endless argument about who has better technology. The Lorin Sector is an Imperial Sector in the Eastern Fringes caught between the T’au Empire, Realm of Ultramar, the Exodite Worlds, the Jericho Reach, and the Scourge Stars. This territory represents a rugged frontier of Imperial Space, having been far gone ever since the Cracks within Imperial Authority during the Nova Terra Interregnum. Fairly isolated from the million-strong armies and mighty Battlefleets of the Imperial Heartland, it is a Sector that is ultimately blessed by its positioning, yet must always fend for itself against the threats creeping in. May it be Genestealer Cults, Xenos Races, Warp Spawn and their Mortal Followers, Redemptionists, or even Dark Ancient Forces beyond all of them. This Warhammer Roleplay is generally based around relative freedom to play what you desire. Although we somewhat focus on playing various Warlords of different factions, we generally try and offer options for character campaigns and the like.
