It is modern day Tokyo. Years have passed since the Dragon War. Faux allyships between Ghoul and Mankind have crumbled like castles under poor leadership and glorified silver linings. From the ashes rose tired, angry, and vengeful ghouls that were given fragile promises and hope at living a normal life.
The United Front and newly-instated CCG, lead by Matsuri Washuu, are now at war. The CCG believes that it is their rightful title as Japan's proper justice division and that all ghouls must be executed as a means to prevent a third-waveโs occurrence as well as another Dragon Incident. The wards have been distorted in chaos underneath the surface, as constant warring over Tokyo's wards appears to be never-ending.
The strange world just got stranger. The dead are mysteriously rising, old organizations are returning with new faces and new leadership, and the ghoul and human worlds as we know it are headed for significant changes.
Here there is a very lax ranking system, meaning that, until the free-spots are filled for higher ranking ghouls / investigators you may have to have your character be higher ranked. For those that miss out, do not fret. We are solely-activity based, meaning the longer / more active you are the higher the rank you can become via the Arcane bot level system **in roleplay channels only**. Both canons and original characters are welcome. Create your own paths - your lore is incorporated into the server's lore. Have fun and enjoy your stay!

A circus rolls into town, the sound of a train on long abandoned tracks, tents set up at the edge of town. The forms of the performers is strange, a deformed beauty with the voice of an angel, the ringmaster with the glowing eyes and pointed teeth hidden behind a charming smile.
As men start to go missing, the circus vanishes just as suddenly as it was set up, the only evidence it was ever there is popcorn and hay scattered and trodden into the grass
At the next town, new faces can be found among the members of the circus and there is fresh meat on the plate of the freakshow's cannibal. At the end of the show odd features can not be removed.
The charming ringmaster has tricks up his sleeves. A witch twisted by solitude and torture, he collects boys and twists them like he was, changing their appearance to his fancy with surgery and magic, taking apart those who do not meet his standards for parts, disposing of what he can't use in the bellies of beasts. His collection is cursed and bound so they can never abandon the circus.
Once you are lured into the circus you can never leave.

Hello! Dark Heresy is a server focusing on following a small cast of characters that work in the retinue of a feared Lord Inquisitor. The Lorin Sector is an Imperial Sector in the Eastern Fringes caught between the Tโau Empire, Realm of Ultramar, the Exodite Worlds, the Jericho Reach, and the Scourge Stars. This territory represents a rugged frontier of Imperial Space, having been far gone ever since the Cracks within Imperial Authority during the Nova Terra Interregnum. Fairly isolated from the million-strong armies and mighty Battlefleets of the Imperial Heartland, it is a Sector that is ultimately blessed by its positioning, yet must always fend for itself against the threats creeping in. May it be Genestealer Cults, Xenos Races, Warp Spawn and their Mortal Followers, Redemptionists, or even Dark Ancient Forces beyond all of them. This Warhammer Roleplay is generally based around relative freedom to play what you desire. Although we somewhat focus on playing various Warlords of different factions, we generally try and offer options for character campaigns and the like. You have become Ashen Born, and you've no way to return to what was before. Your new home is a ruined and ransacked town full of hopeless wretches akin to yourself, having abandoned thought of stepping beyond the towns walls. Many have died attempting to do the same, and after all, it's safe here. ๏ปฟ Supposedly, great beasts inhabit the lands beyond. Many choose to venture outside of New Flame in hopes of answers, and a way home. The terrifying roars of those who call the wastes home are followed shortly by screeches of terror, cries of pain, and then silence. The desert sands to the east carry sound surprisingly well. A horrific warning that almost seems by design. ๏ปฟ Despite this, you are not content to wither away with the other cowards. Scavenging for supplies in the ruins, eating nothing but birds, lizards, rats, and the occasional wild vegetable as a luxury. You cannot accept that there is no purpose for your arrival, you will not lay down and rot like so many of those who came before you, and you are not willing to die here without a fight.
