How to register your Discord server with ServerHunt

ServerHunt is a powerful platform, similar to Disboard, designed to help you discover and promote Discord servers. Follow these enhanced steps to get your server listed and attract new members!

Step 1 - Add the ServerHunt bot

Begin by adding the ServerHunt bot to your server. We only require invite permission.

Step 2 - Configure your server details

Once the bot is added, use the /configure slash command (within your server) to set up your server's profile. You'll need to provide the following information:
  • min_age: Specify the minimum age requirement for your server members.
  • nsfw: Indicate whether NSFW content is allowed or present on your server (true/false).
  • tags: List relevant search tags for your server, separated by commas (e.g., "music, voice, community, gaming").
  • description: Write a compelling and concise description of your server.
  • invite_channel: Select the channel configured for the invite, that new members will see first when joining your server.

Pro tip: Take your time to craft an engaging description and choose accurate tags to improve your server's discoverability!

Step 3 - Verify your server configuration

After configuring, use the /get_info slash command to ensure that a valid invite link has been generated. If you see an "invalid channel" message, double-check that bot has access for your chosen invite channel.
