Long ago, deities whispered in the ear of man. They guided kings and empires; nations rose and fell by their hand. Until one day- they fell silent. A great Calamity fell over the world, humanity had grown complacent and far too reliant on their Gods. After a century of death, one God returned. Nanyamka, goddess of gifts and patron of the kingdom of Papilles. She took mortal form and advised the Crown Prince, instructing him to kill the Regent and take the throne. Meanwhile, in New Garden, a similar assassination has taken place: the king, found bloodstained in his chambers one morning, dead on the scene.
