Desolate Hope, current lore
Desolate hope takes place in the year 2024, to say that the day of reckoning came was an understatement, the year opened up with worldwide open conflict, relations between the world superpowers had been failing as supplies of fossil fuels and natural resources began to fade, and soon the tiny spark that was needed, indeed ignited the world into a sea of fire. For months this "World War 3" raged on. The United states fighting a war on two fronts, China on one side, Russia on the other. Europe was in turmoil, attempting to stay alive on top of providing what assistance they can to their US allies.
Nuclear war was on the topic of most talks... However something different.. Something more unexpected happened. An infection, an illness, of unknown origin, at first it began sprouting up on the East Coast of United states. Reports of people acting erratic, rabid even... Eyes bloodshot. Using nails and teeth as weapons, and this infection spread fast. It seemed as though all that these "Afflicted" needed to do was bite a victim, and within the hour the bitten victim would begin to slowly deteriorate, lose their minds, before eventually becoming an Afflicted themselves.
It is now October. War a thing of the past, the world lies in ashes, few remain uninfected. And those that do have no other choice but to survive... Survive as best they can, some travel in small groups, others choose a nomadic life. Your survivors part of the story takes place in the state of New York, an empty place full of ash filled cities and silent battlefields. Not to mention hordes of afflicted... Good luck out there

-This is an rp based around the idea that the lore will be expanded on based mainly on the actions of player characters.
-Provided character sheets are bare minimum requirement but custom self made sheets will also be accepted as long as they comply with rp rules

The age of horror Long before the planet became known as Alternia, the planetoid was just a lifeless rock drifting in orbit of a supermassive sun. It was unremarkable. It was unlovable. The perfect canvas for life to fester and grow. A being far beyond comprehension known simply as ███ ████████ █████████. It saw the Sinless planet, and it was disgusted. It wept so very hard. Its tears became the oceans. It shivered in entropy. Its dead Protoplasm is the progenitor of all the current life that shall and will ever live on the planet. Its angered-filled attacks terraformed the land, making more than just seas. ███ ████████ █████████ laid the foundation of everything, and once it saw that its fury created a godless planet. It decided to give the gift of authority. ███ ████████ █████████ With its infinite hands, it grabs the star-covered dirt and breathes life into it, creating 12 Gods and a myriad of God-pretenders to populate its creation. Thus ending the Age of Horror. However, horror remained on the planet. So, it was not yet called Alternia. Wrathful Alternia is an 18+ story-driven RP with the gimmick of trolls being able to use their aspects to some extent. The Server is OC only with hints of darker and more adult topics

It is a literate Roleplay server, and I would love to meet new people who would love to build on a story and create something great! I am currently the only admin on the server, but that could possibly change in the future. I am looking for a group of people, at a minimum, who would like to participate in a story.
